The WGA and SAG-AFTRA are currently striking against AMPTP in aim to agree a fair deal for payments and treatment in the workplace for writers and actors.Ways to support the strike:
- Find accurate sources to spread information. Be careful of which news sources you rely upon.
- Join the picket lines! If you are able to, find a pocket line near you and join them! Click here to find the schedule of strike picket line times!- Donate to the Entertainment Community Fund that supports the writers, actors and anyone else suffering during the strikes.- Donate to Union Solidarity Fund which provides healthcare for anyone who is affected by the strike due to being out of work.- Donate to Snacklist which provides food and water and other supplies to those one the picket lines every day. Alternatively, if you are attending or are near a picket line, consider taking food and water for the actors/writers that are striking.

In August 2023, Maui (Hawai'i) suffered serious wildfires that have forced thousands to evacuate and have taken lives. The city of Lāhainā has been almost destroyed. The fires have been labelled the most dangerous in U.S. history.Ways to help the people of Maui:

Many places in Hawai'i and some U.S. states have places for people to drop off ready-to-eat food, clothes and essential supplies to be shipped to Maui. If you can, please research if there is a place near you and consider donating items for those in need.Thank you.
